The Foscarini Twiggy Floor Lamp is an inspired marriage of imagination and technology. Designed by Marc Sadler in 2005, Twiggy is already a Foscarini icon, a modern floor lamp with an unmistakable profile defined by a slender, dramatic arc. Inspired by the design of a fishing rod, Twiggy is just as flexible, its impossibly thin body exquisitely balanced via a system of counter weights. The Foscarini Twiggy Floor Lamp provides both direct and ambient illumination, thanks to the combination of a generous shade and transparent inner disc that disperse intense light directly below, while dispersing more nuanced light over a wider area. Outfitted with LED lighting technology, Twiggy is a modern floor lamp that makes a dramatic statement while maintaining a modest visual and environmental footprint.
Twice as Twiggy is an oversized version of the original Foscarini Twiggy Floor Lamp, designed specifically for large rooms. Despite its substantial size, the Foscarini Twice as Twiggy remains a lightweight modern floor lamp, still exquisitely balanced by an appropriately sized larger base.
